Key Responsibilities

•Own Northwood's Okta environment end-to-end, including tenant configuration, application integrations, lifecycle management, MFA policy enforcement, and directory synchronization
•Design and maintain SSO architecture for corporate and government-facing apps within a consistent, auditable authentication framework
•Develop and enforce adaptive authentication policies, step-up MFA configurations, and risk-based access controls
•Manage Okta workflows and automation for provisioning/deprovisioning and access changes across employee and contractor lifecycles
•Maintain Okta system health, audit logging, and integration reliability with identity telemetry flowing into the SIEM
•Design and implement RBAC frameworks across corporate systems and government workloads with least-privilege access
•Define role taxonomies, entitlement reviews, and certification processes meeting CMMC, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-171 requirements
•Conduct access reviews and maintain access documentation for compliance assessments
•Architect, deploy, and manage MDM across macOS/Windows/Linux/iOS/Android endpoints with security baselines
•Lead SSO onboarding for new SaaS apps and ensure SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 standards are enforced
•Collaborate on privileged access management and secrets management across environments
•Ensure IAM meets CMMC Level 2, FedRAMP, SOC 2, and ITAR, providing audit evidence and documentation
•Develop IAM architecture documentation including data flow diagrams and access control matrices
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce Zero Trust policies and identity-aware network access
•Provide guidance for government-adjacent regulated environments and audits

Key Requirements

•3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with ownership of Okta administration in production
•Deep Okta expertise including SSO configuration, lifecycle management, MFA policy enforcement, adaptive authentication, Okta Workflows, and SIEM integration
•Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0; hands-on experience troubleshooting and hardening integrations
•Experience designing and implementing RBAC frameworks, entitlement reviews, and access certification processes
•Familiarity with privileged access management concepts, including service account governance and least-privilege enforcement
•Understanding of IAM requirements within government compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, ITAR)
•Experience integrating identity platforms with endpoint management, cloud environments, and security monitoring tooling
•Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance
•U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status for ITAR compliance
