Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver CYB counseling services to eligible children and youth at assigned school and installation locations, including assessment, brief counseling, consultation, action planning, referrals, and follow-up.
  • •Provide consultation and training/health-and-wellness presentations for parents, school staff, personnel, and installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth.
  • •Coordinate with DoDEA/community school and youth program staff, installation and military points of contact (POCs), and regional leadership to meet installation scope and needs.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity.
  • •Manage duty to warn and restricted reporting per DoD protocol, participate in supervision and in-services/quality initiatives, and respond to critical incidents and urgent requests as directed.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in a Mental Health related field (Behavioral Health or Social Work).
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner.
  • •Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • •Intermediate-level competencies with technology and software (Microsoft Suite, smartphone/tablet, internet and application navigation, video-conferencing platforms).
  • •Ability to prove US citizenship and be fluent in English; pass CNACI, Installation Records Check, criminal history background check, and FBI fingerprinting.
