Job Summary

Onsite Process Control Specialist serving as the subject-matter expert for PLC and DeltaV systems. Responsible for coordinating PLC/HMI programming and DCS design, troubleshooting control logic, and simulating equipment. You’ll design electrical controls, work closely with Operations to optimize plant and pumping station performance, and apply knowledge of Allen-Bradley controls, HMI programming, VFDs, PID controllers, and industrial instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot plant issues pertaining to PLC and controls logics
•Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and replace damaged wires and cables
•Integrate and simulate equipment including solenoid valves, servo valves, actuators, pressure transducers, RTDs, thermocouples, scale integrators
•Design electrical controls and electrical power systems
•Work closely with Operations to ensure the operations run efficiently

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED
•5+ years in industrial maintenance with electrical troubleshooting and PLC/instrumentation experience
•Fluent understanding of 3-phase power supply, feeders and current limiting devices
•Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix processors, Ethernet, Fiber Optic, Wonderware HMI programming, VFD, PID controllers and power distribution
•Valid Driver’s License
