Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transport modelling development projects and be the lead for supported delivery efforts.
  • •Develop and implement technical delivery approaches, including detailed task lists, delivery time scales, and time allocation by grade and task.
  • •Establish and execute quality assurance processes to ensure modelling deliverables meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • •Collaborate with UK project managers and team leaders to mobilise teams, align report requirements, and incorporate feedback.
  • •Mentor and develop the modelling team through training programs, skills/competency matrices, and support for professional chartership.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical leadership for bids and delivery, including specifying resources, task lists, and delivery time scales.
  • •Experience delivering strategic/microsimulation transport modelling projects.
  • •Comfort managing and leading a team of modelling professionals and mentoring the modelling team.
  • •Working knowledge of UK transport guidelines and principles, with prior UK project experience desirable.
  • •Proficiency with strategic software (SATURN/CUBE/EMME) and associated modules; GIS and programming tools such as QGIS/ArcGIS Pro (Model Builder, Python) are required, with additional modelling packages (VISSIM, PARAMICS) advantageous.
