Job Summary

Hardware Development Engineer responsible for supporting the design, sustainability, and continuous improvement of hardware products for Power and Water Solutions. Collaborates with cross‑functional and global teams on component selection, design changes, testing, qualification, and lifecycle management to ensure quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and evaluate alternative electronic components to support cost optimization, end-of-life mitigation, quality improvement, and enhanced manufacturability
•Support sustaining engineering activities by analyzing, documenting, qualifying, and testing design changes on released hardware products
•Create and process engineering change orders and introduce new components using product lifecycle management systems to enable manufacturing readiness
•Review and verify component and lifecycle changes to assess impact on functionality, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance
•Participate in and present design proposals during design reviews with local and global stakeholders

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any equivalent field; foundational knowledge of electronic components, circuit analysis, and hardware design principles
•Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical partners
•Experience working collaboratively with teams across different regions, cultures, and time zones
•Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to time-sensitive engineering needs
•Familiarity with electrical safety and regulatory standards
