Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure customers’ operational and production environments remain healthy and secure at all times.
  • •Assist with customer onboarding, including customer/device onboarding, policy and platform configuration, and service transition to security operations teams.
  • •Advance platform administration and provide critical incident handling and closure for endpoint security/EDR platforms.
  • •Act as an L3 escalation and point of contact for SecOps Analysts during incident response; coordinate closely with incident response and disaster recovery teams and information security.
  • •Develop and document runbooks/playbooks/knowledgebase articles, and drive continuous improvement of managed EDR services through custom development, automation, and integrations.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of Security Engineering experience, with proven delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Endpoint Security or managed EDR services.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, managing, and operating cloud-native EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike Falcon and/or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (and/or Defender for Cloud).
  • •Hands-on knowledge across security domains including at least two areas such as SIEM (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel), AWS Security Hub services (GuardDuty, Macie, Config, CloudTrail), malware/email-header analysis, or intrusion detection/prevention.
  • •Knowledge of security standards and good practices such as NIST, ISO27001, CIS, OWASP, and Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
  • •Scripting/coding skills with languages such as Terraform, Python, JavaScript, Go, Bash, and/or PowerShell; experience with threat detection, threat hunting, and malware reverse engineering is expected.
