Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the technical direction of Research Flow by translating product ambitions into delivery priorities and architectural decisions across AI-assisted study design and research synthesis.
  • •Take end-to-end technical ownership of ambiguous AI engineering work, from problem definition and prototyping through production delivery and debugging.
  • •Build scalable AI foundations, including generative AI applications with LLMs, RAG, vector search, tool use, and agentic systems; design reliable batch and real-time pipelines.
  • •Set the standard for AI quality by defining evaluation strategies, release criteria, automated benchmarks, and connecting offline evaluation with production monitoring.
  • •Establish security, privacy, and safeguards; raise engineering standards through reusable patterns for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating AI systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience building and operating machine learning or AI systems in production, with evidence of technical leadership across projects.
  • •Proven ability to lead complex engineering initiatives across teams, translating ambiguous requirements into measurable production outcomes.
  • •Strong Python and software engineering skills, including contributing directly to production code.
  • •Experience designing production services and APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • •Hands-on experience with generative AI systems (LLMs, RAG, tool use, agentic systems) plus enterprise RAG evaluation, monitoring, and retrieval architecture.
