Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical expansion strategy for a Malaysia portfolio of Telco and FSI customers, identifying new workloads and use cases to increase consumption.
  • •Spearhead technical motions for customer acquisition by presenting Snowflake technology and value through demos, proof of concept, and design/implementation.
  • •Lead technical discovery with architects and data/domain stakeholders to uncover pain points and shape target-state architectures and roadmaps.
  • •Execute POCs/pilots to prove value and de-risk decisions, defining success criteria and joint execution plans.
  • •Advise on data governance, security, cost governance, and best practices for modeling and performance; collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and partners to drive outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer/Pre-Sales/Data Architect or similar) in data/analytics or cloud.
  • •Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms, data warehousing, or big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, SQL warehouses, Hadoop/Spark, cloud-native data services).
  • •Proficiency in SQL and experience with one or more programming languages used in data/analytics (e.g., Python).
  • •Ability to design and communicate architectures for data integration, warehousing, BI/analytics, and data science/ML workloads.
  • •Industry experience or strong exposure to FSI and/or Telco, including driving technical win and expansion in enterprise accounts.
