Key Responsibilities

  • •Pre-contract: Budgeting, BOQ preparation and costing, detailed quantification of items, rate analysis, and coordination with client, internal project team, architects and consultants.
  • •Post-contract: Participate in bill certification for MEP packages, read BOQs, certify items per work progress, and prepare payment certificates.
  • •Detailed quantity checking from site, JMRs and approved drawings, finalizing with contractors.
  • •Handle contract documents, BG and WCP, challan & invoices, material inspection checklists, quality checklists, pour cards and other statutory documents.
  • •Reconciliation of free-issue materials and quantities of all MEP BOQ items, rate analysis, and verification against Kolkata market rates.

Key Requirements

  • •B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputed college or university in West Bengal.
  • •5-8 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor on large projects (>5 lakh sq ft).
  • •Experience in Residential, Commercial Buildings/Office Buildings preferred.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with global corporate clients.
  • •Ability to read drawings and extract quantities from AutoCAD drawings; awareness of IS codes.
