Key Responsibilities

  • •Build enterprise cloud infrastructure that provides European data sovereignty and hyperscaler-grade capabilities, addressing distributed systems at scale.
  • •Develop and implement solutions using Go, OpenStack, and Kubernetes for container orchestration, storage resilience, and API performance under traffic spikes.
  • •Guide engineering teams building SAP Cloud Infrastructure through agile practices and delivery methodologies to enable rapid, reliable enterprise cloud service delivery.
  • •Establish frameworks and collaborate across cross-functional teams to coordinate multi-region networking, orchestration, and storage system development.
  • •Design and implement agile processes that accelerate delivery of mission-critical systems aligned with identity, trust, and security requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in Go, Python, or similar languages, with strong distributed systems and cloud-native architecture experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure, including microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • •Strong background in identity and authentication/Trust Services, with practical experience in OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and/or IAM components like OpenStack Keystone or Keycloak.
  • •8+ years of software development experience with a track record of contributing to or leading architectural decisions in complex, distributed environments.
  • •Ability to design and operate highly available, resilient multi-region systems that handle massive traffic and incorporate security/compliance considerations.
