Key Responsibilities

•Ongoing management of third-party reinsurance including discussions on industry trends, rate setting and other new business opportunities.
•Research and analyze potential new markets, companies and products for reinsurance opportunities.
•Work with primary deal leads and pricing team to analyze due diligence materials, create pricing models and produce indicative quotes and management materials.
•Provide support for all phases of a transaction process, including initial target identification, transaction structuring, contract negotiation, closing and post-close management.
•Lead the production of product and treaty summaries for new transactions, highlighting key actuarial, reporting and operational agreements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or any quantitative field with either a Fellow qualification of a widely recognized actuarial body or a CFA designation.
•Minimum six years’ experience in either the life insurance/reinsurance industry or investment banking, with strong expertise in the financial services/insurance sector.
•Solid understanding of insurance liabilities with knowledge of fixed rate and indexed annuities.
•Demonstrated stakeholder management skills including prior experience in a client-facing or consulting role with ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications; experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar platforms) to enhance productivity is preferred.
