Job Summary

Environmental Health and Safety engineer responsible for implementing and managing EHS programs, conducting incident investigations, overseeing environmental permitting and reporting, and conducting risk assessments. Collaborates with engineering, operations, and facilities to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental stewardship across Intel’s Vietnam manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement and manage environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all local, regional, and Intel EHS standards.
•Conduct EHS incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
•Oversee environmental permitting, licenses, certifications, and external reporting, ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner.
•Perform workplace risk assessments and safety hazard evaluations to identify potential dangers and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
•Monitor workplace environments to evaluate factors that may impact employee health, such as exposure to hazardous waste or pollutants, and maintain accurate records of findings.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience as per business needs.
•2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety with a bachelor's degree, or 1+ year with a master's degree.
•Proficiency in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and problem-solving in EHS domains.
•Ability to conduct workplace assessments and audits, including knowledge of environmental permitting and EHS incident investigations.
•Familiarity with EHS standards, regulatory bodies, and best practices.
