Job Summary

Manage franchise revenue accounting by ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition under US GAAP/IFRS, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15. Maintain deferred income schedules, record and reconcile deferred revenue balances, and track Development Agreements (DAs) and DA incentives end-to-end. Partner cross-functionally with finance and operations to validate transactions and support SOX/internal audit with accurate, timely reporting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure accurate, timely revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and company policies, including analysis of contracts for proper treatment.
•Maintain and update deferred income schedules, record/track/reconcile deferred revenue balances, and ensure correct recognition over appropriate periods.
•Track and monitor Development Agreements (DAs) to ensure compliance with financial terms and maintain records of active and expired agreements.
•Handle DA incentive end-to-end accounting, including calculation, recognition, settlement, and reporting for management review.
•Support SOX/internal audit by ensuring adherence to requirements and providing accurate, timely audit information.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting or finance (CA qualified preferred).
•4+ years of experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis.
•Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and deferred income accounting.
•Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar).
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication.
