Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion the system and validation process for SpaceX’s data center server hardware products. This includes network connectivity, power delivery and functional aspects of the servers
  • •Implement and maintain a scalable and robust VMware environment to support the organization's virtualization needs
  • •Lead the project management of hardware development programs from inception to final product shipment
  • •Data center deployments and troubleshooting production operational issues in our data centers
  • •Help our team of engineers and server partners to develop, support, and sustain purpose-built servers, with emphasis on a resilient design and high availability

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or other technical field of study and 3+ years of engineering experience in an enterprise environment; OR 5+ years of engineering experience in an enterprise environment in lieu of a degree
  • •1+ years of professional experience working with enterprise class server infrastructure
  • •1+ years of professional experience managing virtualized server environments
  • •Experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) including tools to monitor, measure, manage, and/or control data center utilization
  • •Certifications related to IT infrastructure i.e. CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, CCNP
