Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to housekeeping practices and follow SHE safety, health, and environmental standards during maintenance work.
  • •Inspect dewatering equipment/pumps continuously, report defects, and prevent breakdowns, damage, injuries, and production delays.
  • •Prepare work areas with required pumps and pipes; complete jobs within specified timeframes.
  • •Assist with dewatering team activities, including installing/removing pumps, monitoring pump performance, refuelling pumps, and maintaining pumps.
  • •Install, remove and repair HDPE pipes; prepare and oversee digging of pumps or trenches; clean equipment and the work area after maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • •Basic rigging training.
  • •WA200 FEL License.
  • •Red Permit.
  • •SA Driver's Licence Code B, plus experience operating mining equipment (Komatsu WA 200 Front End Loader) and familiarity with pump maintenance and safety standards.
