Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting packages, NAV calculations, capital calls/distributions, and investor reporting.
  • •Review and approve fund-level financial statements and material/high-risk components including NAV, management fees, waterfalls/incentive fees, capital flows, and valuations.
  • •Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and procedures in line with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable standards; support input on fund structures, valuation, and NAV methodologies.
  • •Oversee carry vehicles accounting and reporting, including allocations and vesting schedules; support credit facility management (compliance monitoring, draw requests, covenant tracking, debt sizing).
  • •Coordinate audits and external advisors, support tax filing and investor tax reporting with internal/external tax teams, and provide financial analysis for performance monitoring, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/chartered accountant preferred.
  • •Accounting experience in a Senior Controller or Fund Accounting role.
  • •Strong understanding of institutional real estate investment structures (open-end/closed-end funds, REITs, joint ventures, operating companies).
  • •Experience managing fund administrators and external service providers.
  • •Ability to assess materiality and risk and manage multiple products, fund structures, and reporting timelines.
