Key Responsibilities

•Manage transportation infrastructure construction projects and serve as the construction engineering management lead on-site.
•Maintain project files, review daily inspection reports, and conduct site visits as needed.
•Verify that quality standards and project deadlines are met, including reviewing contractor schedules and updates in coordination with client requirements.
•Drive contractor deliverables and administer construction contracts, including pay requisitions, change orders, RFI and submittals, and documentation through closeout.
•Chair site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, provide regular status reports, and provide staff mentoring.

Key Requirements

•B.S. Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a Master’s in Business Administration (or equivalent).
•Minimum of 7 years of related construction experience.
•Experience with Illinois Tollway, Chicago Department of Transportation, CDOT, or Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
•OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain.
•Strong English language skills (written and verbal), with strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel).
