Job Summary

Deliver first aid care and injury management, support site security, and help the Health & Safety Department run daily safe operations at the mine. Administer a visitor management system, perform drug and alcohol testing, and control site access/egress while generating reports from the access control software. Maintain readiness for key safety assets, conduct inspections/audits, and support risk control and occupational health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer on-site first aid and injury management, maintain readiness for the first aid room and Emergency Transport Vehicle (ETV) and gatehouse.
•Administer the on-site visitor management system, perform drug and alcohol testing, and control site access and egress.
•Provide reports from the Site access control software and manage basic janitorial/organizational tasks including filing, scanning, and LMS administration.
•Perform health and safety inspections and audits and assist with implementing risk control programs (e.g., fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy isolation).
•Support occupational health and hygiene monitoring, assist contractors with safe work plans/orientations, and help analyze/report site injuries.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 79,920 - 88,800 annually

Key Requirements

•WorkSafe BC OFA Level III is required.
•Strong computer literacy with programs such as Google Suite.
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills to work with all levels and external stakeholders.
•Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license and have access to personal transportation.
•Meet pre-employment testing requirements and demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada.
