Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the Safety and Governance strategy and framework aligned to EGA’s ESG and Sustainability strategy and corporate objectives.
  • •Manage and lead safety governance across all EGA safety operations, including development, implementation, review, and auditing of safety systems.
  • •Oversee site safety management: day-to-day operations, stopping unsafe activities, incident investigations, and safety training at all levels.
  • •Plan, implement, and conduct safety and compliance audits, meetings, inspections, and follow-up assessments to drive corrective action.
  • •Manage international safety through standardized reporting systems and training programs aligned to international safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as safety management or HSSE.
  • •Professional certification/Diploma in Safety Management.
  • •Lead Auditor.
  • •12 years of safety experience in an industrial environment, including at least 4 years at safety management level.
  • •Risk assessment/management and strong leadership with excellent communication and organizational skills.
