Job Summary

Provide excellent customer service to restaurant guests by greeting visitors, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders. Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver meals promptly and professionally. Serve guests during their dining experience, address questions and concerns, process payments, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and follow health and safety and food-handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Greet guests, present menus, and provide recommendations or descriptions of menu items.
•Take accurate food and beverage orders, including noting dietary restrictions and special requests.
•Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff promptly.
•Serve food and beverages in a timely, courteous manner and ensure accuracy in delivery and presentation.
•Check back with guests, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role, with 2 years of relevant experience.
•Knowledge of restaurant menu offerings to describe dishes and make recommendations.
•Ability to take accurate orders and enter them into the restaurant point-of-sale system.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage guests and handle inquiries.
•Ability to serve food and beverages professionally, including handling trays and tableside service.
