Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical design and quality of services within your workstream (inventory management, order routing, warehouse operations, or client integrations)
•Break down ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and ensure alignment with overall platform architecture set by Staff engineers
•Lead integration of forecasting, ETA prediction, and anomaly-detection signals into fulfillment workflows, partnering with Staff and data/ML engineers
•Serve as the go-to technical decision-maker without direct reports: run/contribute to design reviews, unblock engineers, and mentor through code review and pairing
•Set standards for testing, observability, reliability, and documentation; proactively reduce technical debt as the platform scales

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 45,000 - 50,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6–8+ years building and shipping production backend systems
•Experience leading technical direction for a team or workstream (design reviews, mentorship, setting standards)
•Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, data modeling, databases, and distributed systems
•Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native service design
•Familiarity with event-driven architectures (queues, streams, async processing)
