Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure internal audit methodology and framework updates align with statutory, regulatory, Allianz Group, and industry requirements.
  • •Coordinate and facilitate the yearly internal audit planning process and support annual and long-term audit plan coverage.
  • •Maintain governance for internal audit cost allocation and service level agreements; support implementation of governance systems and entity-level controls.
  • •Ensure efficient, client-oriented audit reporting and audit result documentation quality consistent with internal audit standards and work programs.
  • •Track findings and recommendations to closure status, perform data quality checks, and run annual IA self-assessments to drive process and practice improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years of professional experience in internal/external audit.
  • •Several years’ experience in regulated financial services (banking, insurance, asset management, IT, risk management) with interactions with regulators and/or external auditors.
  • •University degree in economics, business administration or equivalent.
  • •Strong knowledge of audit methodology and IIA Standards; CIA, CFA, CISA or similar is an advantage.
  • •Excellent English communication skills; German is beneficial.
