Job Summary

Senior BIM Technician responsible for independently developing engineering BIM models and drawings for infrastructure schemes, from feasibility through construction, using Revit, ACC, Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Collaborates across UK/International projects within WSP’s Global Capability Center, contributing to multi-project BIM workflows and ensuring CAD/BIM standards and health & safety policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently develop engineering BIM models and drawings for infrastructure schemes to applicable standards
•Play a proactive role in the BIM design process and contribute across multiple projects simultaneously
•Produce drawings (plans, sections, details) from engineers’ sketches and coordinate with design teams in GCC and UK
•Utilize Revit, ACC, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and other BIM software to produce models and drawings and perform clash detection
•Adhere to H&S policies and procedures and pursue personal development plans with line manager support

Key Requirements

•Diploma/Engineering in Civil Engineering with 6-10 years of experience
•Proficiency in Autodesk BIM software (Revit, ACC, Civil 3D, AutoCAD)
•Ability to develop BIM models and drawings to CAD/BIM standards and read 2D/3D drawings
•Knowledge of UK/International design standards and BIM workflow ISO 19650; ability to perform clash detection
•Strong communication and ability to supervise CAD/BIM outputs and coordinate with design teams across GCC/UK
