Job Summary

Execute the end-to-end operational loss risk management lifecycle for internal and external loss events across Truist business units and corporate functions. Partner with stakeholders to collect and validate loss event information, perform evaluations, and coordinate risk/control assessment. Maintain accurate loss event records in the system of record (e.g., Archer), monitor lifecycle progress against SLAs, and conduct quality reviews and governance for data integrity.

•Execute and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle for a subset of internal and external loss events, including monitoring, identification, assessment, documentation, and coordination of risk/control evaluation.
•Partner with business unit stakeholders to evaluate event applicability and impacts, collect required information, and drive timely completion of evaluations.
•Conduct loss event evaluations, including classification, financial impact capture, and causal factor documentation, aligned with enterprise procedures.
•Maintain accurate loss event data elements within the system of record (e.g., Archer) in accordance with SLAs and enterprise operational risk management policies.
•Perform and lead quality reviews of loss event records, monitor lifecycle progress for data gaps/delays, and escalate issues as appropriate while mentoring junior teammates.

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
•5+ years of experience in operational risk, loss event management, audit, or related functions.
•Strong understanding of operational risk management frameworks and loss event lifecycle processes.
•Ability to analyze complex scenarios and apply judgment within defined procedures.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management systems (e.g., Archer), with strong data quality and documentation discipline.
