Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the initial strategic roadmap for select commodities (e.g., machined components, electromechanical systems and controls, shielding, thermal management, turbomachinery, fuel).
  • •Identify, onboard, and develop suppliers to build a mature supply base supporting prototyping and full-rate production.
  • •Collaborate with responsible and manufacturing engineering teams to review drawings and support design for manufacturing with suppliers.
  • •Coordinate with quality teams on supplier onboarding, quality and documentation requirements, nonconformances, and supply-chain procedures.
  • •Direct make-versus-buy decisions and create should-costing analyses; develop performance metrics and manage critical path items for prototyping and development milestones.

Salary: USD 115,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics or related AND 3+ years in design/manufacturing engineering, supplier development/quality, or supply chain management.
  • •OR 5+ years in design/manufacturing engineering, supplier development/quality, or supply chain management.
  • •3+ years of experience in supply chain management or manufacturing for complex systems and assemblies.
  • •3+ years of experience in aerospace & defense, automotive, semiconductor, or energy industries.
  • •Proficiency in supply chain systems, including MRP and ERP.
