Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently deliver equipment, products, and materials to customers on required routes in a timely manner.
  • •Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
  • •Load and unload using specialized equipment when needed, following loading crew signals and handling skids and trailer arrangements.
  • •Maintain and deliver required paperwork (signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other documentation) after each route.
  • •Perform routine service checks on trucks and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold the required commercial driver’s license or chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight, depending on state.
  • •Pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs, and pass required background and drug testing under federal/state DOT regulations.
  • •Operate vehicles safely and comply with applicable state and federal transportation laws, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds, and handle prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
  • •Maintain strong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional, courteous communication at delivery points.
