Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems (without custom keypad/controller) and integrate keypad-to-telematics communications.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex wiring harness work for CAN network access.
  • •Identify and resolve problems by gathering/analyzing information and providing alternative solutions; travel to client sites and rental yards as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude with tools and comfort working with hands-on equipment.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, or similar); prior telematics experience not required (training provided).
  • •Ability to drive and maneuver in tight spaces, bend/squat/walk long distances, and lift over 25 lb.
  • •Open to traveling within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time, and able to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen (safety sensitive).
