Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end support for the software development platform in an avionics context (plan, build, operate) and drive its continuous improvement.
  • •Automate provisioning related to configuration, packaging, and automated installation of development environments using scripting and deployment tools.
  • •Design, build, and run infrastructure with a focus on server landscape conception and administration to ensure independence and tool availability.
  • •Create and maintain a centralized tool and license database to manage software, costs, users, and contracts transparently.
  • •Monitor, optimize, and govern software design/requirements processes and implement proactive problem reporting and license/cost monitoring (e.g., via JIRA).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in software development or a related field.
  • •Experience with modern software development methods, system engineering processes, and integration of AI-supported tools.
  • •Experience automating infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting, including packaging software.
  • •Hands-on experience operating and configuring development systems and related system/network technology (e.g., server operation, license servers).
  • •Proficiency with SQL for modeling complex relational data (licenses, costs, assets) and workflow tools such as JIRA.
