  • •Manage and coordinate designated facility construction projects to meet safety, standards, schedule, and funding parameters.
  • •Develop conceptual plans and budgets; support design/build decisions and create initiation planning documents for management approval.
  • •Prepare RFPs, conduct meetings, hire construction services, and review plans/specifications for code and project requirement compliance.
  • •Oversee engineering firm activities (meetings, minutes, action items) and monitor planning and construction phases to ensure proper execution.
  • •Coordinate planning/design/construction stakeholders, manage budgets and purchase orders/change orders, execute submittals and field reviews, review invoices, and lead project walkthroughs and closeouts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years, or a Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in an industrial construction environment.
  • •Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes, including building codes, standards of practice, and construction materials/methods.
  • •Understanding of cost status for new construction, escalation factors, and market trends.
  • •Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Projects.
  • •OSHA 30 Certificate is preferred.
