Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize, arrange, and follow through personalized tours and itineraries for guests through coordination with other departments and external/government excursion providers.
  • •Provide accurate and timely information to guests about history, cultural heritage, and natural particularities; keep guests informed of available options.
  • •Arrange on- and off-site activities, tours/transfers, and special requests to maximize comfort and convenience during visits.
  • •Responsible for a zone of the resort reserve area, including ecological maintenance, security, and monitoring, to support an integrated environmental policy.
  • •Accompany guests on arranged excursions when necessary and respond to emergency situations per property procedures to ensure safety and protect company equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to act as a professional guide with knowledge of wildlife.
  • •Knowledge of African and Rwandan flora and fauna, natural history, history and culture.
  • •Fluency in English; additional languages are preferable.
  • •Ability to organize and arrange high-quality, high-end providers, activities, tours, and excursions.
  • •Ability to carry out assigned property conservation and land-care work as directed, including routine maintenance tasks.
