Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, install, support, and repair technological tools and equipment at field/client locations; analyze user needs and test products.
  • •Support sustainment and repair operations for the Army’s Giant Voice and AVNS, including management, operation, and maintenance of associated hardware, software, and processes.
  • •Troubleshoot errors or malfunctions and perform unscheduled or routine maintenance, including creating and maintaining service/training manuals and providing on-site training.
  • •Document repair information of hardware and software in conjunction with geospatial data.
  • •Coordinate with lead and teams (Engineering, Security, Site and Systems Administration) and work with OEM representatives; communicate with internal/external and government customers to address support and usability concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •DoD Secret Clearance is required (or ability to obtain and maintain one).
  • •High school or GED equivalent.
  • •1-2 years of related experience.
  • •Knowledge of/willingness to learn Emergency Management systems, including Giant Voice experience or LMR experience (or apprentice electrician technical test equipment for installing/repairing GV/LMR/AVNS).
  • •Strong written and verbal communication plus troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
