Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and enhance trajectory optimization algorithms (e.g., iLQR/MPC) for low-speed scenarios and improve constraint-aware local planning to produce control-friendly trajectories.
  • •Refactor and scale the planning stack architecture for maintainability and extensibility, improving CPU usage and exploring parallel/GPU acceleration.
  • •Investigate and resolve real-world issues such as curvature discontinuities, velocity/trajectory mismatches, and edge-case steering behavior.
  • •Validate solutions using simulation and vehicle logs with multi-scenario testing and benchmarking to ensure production viability.
  • •Evaluate and prototype new approaches (including learned models and ML-driven planning), drive technical discussions, and track work via Jira with clear metrics and reproducible results.

Key Requirements

  • •M.S. or Ph.D. in Robotics, Control, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5-8+ years of software development experience in autonomous driving, ADAS, or robotics with focus on large-scale data and real-time systems.
  • •Strong programming skills in C/C++ and solid software engineering design principles and best practices.
  • •Delivery experience across the ADAS/AD production lifecycle, including architecture/design, implementation, unit testing, SIL/HIL validation, and in-vehicle deployment.
  • •Hands-on integration experience on embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Xavier/Orin and Infineon Aurix, with leadership experience.
