•Manage highway/roadway project scope, objectives and policies; provide leadership to subordinate managers and act as liaison with client stakeholders.
•Ensure project construction aligns with design specifications, budget, and schedule through effective management of project teams.
•Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract closeout with significant profit and loss responsibility.
•Develop and implement project management plans including risk, quality control, and resource allocation strategies.
•Coordinate with engineering, design, environmental, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another Engineering discipline plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
•Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California
•Strong leadership and ability to lead department staff
•Experience with business development and client relations
•Project management experience leading highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development
