Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage highway/roadway project scope, objectives and policies; provide leadership to subordinate managers and act as liaison with client stakeholders.
  • •Ensure project construction aligns with design specifications, budget, and schedule through effective management of project teams.
  • •Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract closeout with significant profit and loss responsibility.
  • •Develop and implement project management plans including risk, quality control, and resource allocation strategies.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, design, environmental, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another Engineering discipline plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
  • •Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California
  • •Strong leadership and ability to lead department staff
  • •Experience with business development and client relations
  • •Project management experience leading highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development
