Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage remittance strategy, enhancing remittance business, partnerships, and remittance corridors.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with central bank and local and international financial institutions, including KYC onboarding for new FI relationships.
  • •Own remittances P&L, annual budget, cost model, margin targets, and deliver revenue growth and cost efficiency.
  • •Define and execute business plan strategy for remittance corridors and channels; expand distribution and partnerships.
  • •Support RDA and NRP growth via partnerships; manage Vostro/Nostro relationships, negotiate documentation, and coordinate with IT, Digital, Treasury, and Compliance teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years relevant experience in a bank’s FI and remittance function.
  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • •Strong understanding of FE regulations, FI trade, financial markets, and remittance products.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and lateral thinking skills with teamwork ability.
  • •Ability to make quick decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
