Set up and operate a single-blade saw by reading production scheduling sheets, selecting required materials, and ensuring grade, size, and moisture content meet quality specifications. Perform setups and feed material to specification, periodically check equipment, and offload/stack finished components per procedures. Maintain a safe, clean work area, complete pre-shift inspections, follow LOTO and preventive maintenance, and keep required production records.

•Ensure material meets quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check materials/finished products for compliance.
•Perform setups and feed material according to specifications, periodically checking equipment to maintain standards.
•Offload and stack material in accordance with procedures; cover, label, and band components when required.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; complete pre-shift inspections, perform LOTO and preventive maintenance, and maintain production records.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
•Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred.
•Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Ability to follow established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
