Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure special education and related services are provided per the IEP team, including communicating with parents and related service staff.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other state-required special education documentation.
  • •Lead collaborative special education meetings, such as annual IEP meetings.
  • •Implement accommodations and modifications (including assistive technology, supplemental curriculum, and accessible text) and adapt lessons/assessments per the IEP.
  • •Collect and analyze student data and work samples to monitor progress, prescribe remediation/enrichment, maintain grade book integrity, and prepare students for standardized tests.

Key Requirements
