Key Responsibilities

  • •Pilot team performance and delivery: coordinate objectives, manage risks, drive remediation, and implement continuous improvement
  • •Support IPTs by providing process, tools, and methods to ensure expected performance
  • •Ensure software certificability and constraints by partnering with system/hardware teams for certification with performance, robustness, safety, and cybersecurity considerations
  • •Define the technical vision, develop competencies, and roll out discipline practices and tools for low-level software evolution
  • •Drive knowledge capitalization and Make-or-Buy: reuse/synergies, define Make-or-Buy with MoB, manage HR process, allocate across projects, and run technical reviews

Key Requirements

  • •Master 2 (BAC+5) in an engineering school or a university degree in Computer Science
  • •Significant experience managing a team and developing complex, high-stakes systems with certification and security requirements
  • •Strong real-time embedded software development skills
  • •Experience with low-level software development (drivers, firmwares, middleware, operating systems)
  • •Expertise in certification of critical avionics software, including DO-178C
