Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain a forklift safely and efficiently using work instructions and visual management/computer interface.
  • •Supply production operations with raw materials and transfer finished goods to staging or storage areas.
  • •Scan/print bill of lading for finished goods and complete required written logs and ticket closing sequences.
  • •Inspect finished goods for quality defects and remove/rework any damaged product on pallets.
  • •Ensure accurate inventory counts, notify lead/supervisor of discrepancies, and maintain a clean work area/housekeeping.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
  • •A valid forklift certification that meets OSHA requirements is required.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • •Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving up to 70 pounds and standing/walking 8–12 hours.
