Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transmission line design and engineering consulting services for utility and energy clients, coordinating with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • •Design electrical transmission facilities including line layout, foundations, structure configuration, insulation and conductor specification.
  • •Prepare project specifications for material and equipment purchase and installation.
  • •Deliver substations and control houses designs that meet industry standards and specifications and ensure constructability.
  • •Review internal/external designs for code compliance, good design practice, and constructability.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in transmission line design within utility or power delivery environments
  • •Relevant experience in transmission line design and a working knowledge of PLSCadd
  • •Engineering degree (Civil, Electrical, or related)
  • •EIT required / PE eligibility strongly preferred
  • •Ability to work full-time on-site at the client office in Rochester or Binghamton, NY
