Job Summary

Lead development and improvement of HSE programs supporting Plains’ operations and engineering teams, including MSA gas monitoring, industrial hygiene, lone worker monitoring, and process safety management. Serve as the HSE lead for gas monitoring governance and analyze gas detection data to identify exposure trends and control opportunities. Administer MOC, support training and incident investigations, maintain compliance with OSHA requirements, and provide risk visibility through data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development, maintenance, and assurance of HSE programs impacting operations and engineering teams, including gas monitoring, industrial hygiene, lone worker, and process safety management.
•Serve as HSE lead for the MSA gas monitoring program, including program governance, monitor deployment standards, calibration requirements, and data management.
•Support industrial hygiene by conducting/coordination exposure assessments, maintaining exposure records, and supporting respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and occupational health programs.
•Administer the site Management of Change (MOC) program, including facilitating reviews, tracking actions, generating metrics, and ensuring required risk assessments and approvals.
•Provide training, communication, and governance support for incident management, PSM, and gas monitoring; conduct incident investigations for higher-risk events.

•5+ years of experience in HSE, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety, or a related field.
