Key Responsibilities

•Monitor publicly available online information in multiple languages, including Russian, to detect threats to people, locations, and events.
•Use Russian language skills, Boolean logic, and automated search tools to identify potential threats.
•Research and review information across social media, news sites, forums, and other open source sources.
•Support translation efforts with correct cultural and ethnic context when needed.
•Provide threat findings for use by security and law enforcement personnel, with required shift work (6am-6:15pm, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
•Proficiency in Russian, including the ability to translate with correct cultural and ethnic context.
•Strong English and Russian communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
•Advanced online research experience, including knowledge of internet-based research and Boolean logic.
•Knowledge of machine language translation methods and the ability to learn new software.
