Job Summary

Own performance of the VWR supplier brand lab consumables portfolio, driving portfolio strategy, revenue and gross margin growth, and margin expansion initiatives. Build growth plans and a new product pipeline using customer needs and market analytics, and develop positioning and pricing strategies. Lead commercialization of new products—from business cases and product development through onboarding, inventory strategy, go-to-market planning, and coordination with sales, marketing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive portfolio financial performance (revenue, GM, and GM expansion) and provide report-outs to key stakeholders.
•Develop growth plans and a new product pipeline for lab consumables products based on customer needs and market analytics.
•Create positioning and pricing strategies for existing and new lab consumables portfolios.
•Lead development and commercialization of new lab consumables products, including business cases, product development ownership, pricing, onboarding, inventory strategy, and go-to-market execution.
•Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and strategic sourcing to achieve growth targets and develop supplier strategies and portfolio productivity/cost improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 107,500 - 173,075 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial, technical, portfolio, category, or product management role within laboratory or life science products.
•Experience identifying and developing business growth opportunities to deliver profitable growth.
•Ability to communicate with all organizational levels, including executive management, and with suppliers and customers.
•Ability to create and implement business plans and strategies, using economic and financial acumen to assess sales, margin, inventory investment, payment terms, ROCE, and EBITDA.
