Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop project cost control data structures to accurately track and control actual costs.
  • •Set and align the project control budget with agreed baselines.
  • •Track and control actual costs for internal and external expenditure against the cost structures.
  • •Track and control project accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
  • •Produce accurate, timely reporting using Earned Value Management metrics, including forecasts (ETC/EAC), contingency and risk exposure, and change control alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with proven experience delivering project controls services for major projects or programmes.
  • •Experience delivering cost engineering across the full project lifecycle, including pre-investment decision, design development, execution, and commissioning.
  • •Ability to work to cost engineering procedures and define project cost procedures and standards for the project or programme.
  • •Highly conversant with cost management systems such as Prism and Ecosys, including interfaces with corporate finance systems such as SAP and Oracle.
  • •CIMA qualification is welcomed.
