Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute performance, power, and perf/watt characterization and optimization test plans for multiple usage scenarios (3D, compute, multimedia, Static Screen, AI, etc.).
  • •Analyze interactions between performance and power management features and optimize their configurations for power and performance.
  • •Develop post-Si power/performance models for key usage scenarios.
  • •Support prototyping experiments that improve current capabilities and enable new features impacting performance and power.
  • •Debug and troubleshoot system-level issues in test environments and platforms, and drive continuous improvement in post-silicon activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors + 5 years or Master’s degree + 3 years in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with emphasis on computer architecture and workload analysis.
  • •Understanding of power/thermal management and performance.
  • •Good understanding of computer organization/architecture.
  • •Deep understanding of digital electronics and extensive laboratory experience (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • •Programming experience in C or C++, plus a scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, PHP, or shells).
