Key Responsibilities

•Own the multi-year hardware roadmap across product lines, including heat pumps, water heaters, EV chargers, batteries, smart panels, and the orchestrating software platform.
•Set build vs. buy vs. partner strategy per category and build business cases (market sizing, competitive positioning, unit economics, margin targets).
•Manage, coach, and grow a team of hardware product managers and scale the org as the portfolio expands.
•Own the end-to-end NPI process from concept through scaled rollout, including vendor/technology evaluation, prototyping, pilots, certification, and ramp.
•Architect the integrated home energy system and define data model, telemetry, and control interfaces to enable interoperability and intelligent energy orchestration.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 215,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of product management experience bringing physical energy/electrification hardware to market (HVAC, heat pumps, water heating, battery storage, EV charging, or similar).
•5+ years directly managing and growing product teams, hiring and developing people while raising team performance.
•Proven ability to take products from zero to one and scale a portfolio, launching a product line and managing multiple products through their lifecycle.
•Deep understanding of the residential energy ecosystem and how key components work together in a home (heat pumps, water heaters, inverters, batteries, panels, chargers, grid interconnection).
•Experience evaluating OEM partnerships and technology integrations, including assessing specs and managing vendor relationships at a senior level.
