Job Summary

Lead fleet planning and optimization for Netflix’s global hardware infrastructure, owning a multi-year refresh strategy for servers, networking, and storage. Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to translate demand signals into capacity plans, fleet health metrics, procurement alignment, and risk mitigation. Build and present long-range roadmaps and business cases (including TCO) while influencing senior stakeholders to ensure capacity is available in the right place and time.

•Own the multi-year fleet refresh plan for Netflix’s global hardware infrastructure, translating engineering roadmaps and business priorities into long-term fleet plans.
•Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align fleet strategy with business priorities and budget constraints.
•Define and track fleet health metrics (utilization, age distribution, failure rates) and drive continuous optimization across the hardware lifecycle.
•Lead hardware procurement planning with the Business Operations team to match supply to demand without over-provisioning.
•Build and present fleet planning roadmaps and recommendations to senior leadership, driving alignment on fleet standards and end-of-life decisions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 300,000 - 520,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in capacity planning for data center or cloud platforms, or network planning.
•5+ years of hands-on data analysis and visualization experience, with proficiency in SQL; Python is a plus.
•Strong communication skills to tailor messaging for technical and executive audiences.
•Ability to turn ambiguous, cross-functional problems into structured plans when data is incomplete.
•Technical Program Management experience is preferred.
