Job Summary

Senior Accountant at AspenTech will manage the GL for domestic and international operations under US GAAP, coordinating with multiple departments within a centralized shared services model. You’ll prepare journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany entries, and matrixes, drive process improvements in the month-end close, and support external auditors, with a 4-day on-site work expectation at Reforma.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
•Collaborate cross functionally and record appropriate intercompany, accruals and compensation entries.
•Prepare worldwide intercompany matrix and actively resolve variances throughout the close.
•Assist in streamlining and automating intercompany transactions workflow within Oracle and related projects.
•Incorporate ongoing system reporting improvements in the monthly close process.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting. 5 years of relevant GL accounting experience.
•Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
•Strong analytical, quantitative skills and accounting research skills.
•Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and MS Excel.
•Prior experience working with Oracle or a similar ERP is desirable.
