Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface with silicon, power architecture, and pre-silicon teams to close power and performance targets and propose performance improvements when needed.
  • •Interface with manufacturing to drive SLT characterization and voltage stackup methodology to optimize quality and performance.
  • •Drive key PMM feature definition and optimization, including quality post-silicon power and SLT characterization activities.
  • •Drive post-silicon performance attainment for server product OPNs and lead post-silicon/customer debug to identify root causes of power/performance issues.
  • •Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure across software, hardware, automation environment, and lab setup.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,900 - 344,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with several years of commercial server or data center experience in power and performance areas.
  • •Knowledge of computer hardware architecture (CPU/APU, x86, PCIe, memory, bus logic) and related software architecture (driver, BIOS, firmware).
  • •Experience with power management feature enablement and optimization, including CPU SLT characterization and voltage stackup.
  • •Debug skills across both SoC and system level, including post-silicon/customer debug of power and performance issues.
  • •Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, or Perl.
