Job Summary

Design, implement, and test Linux server and Android-based client components for the InFlight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) product suite. As part of a Scrum team, you will contribute to feature implementation, ensure on-time releases, and support verification, validation, and in-service fixes in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Implementation and integration of new features in the IFEC product suites
•Deliver software releases to airline customers on-time, on-budget, and with the expected quality
•Design and implement Android framework services (modify/create services in the Android framework)
•Design and implement software changes on Linux-based server
•Support IFEC system verification and validation and provide fixes to the In-Service team

Key Requirements

•5 years’ experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or 2 years’ experience with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
•2+ years’ experience with application development, testing and troubleshooting distributed software systems
•2+ years’ experience with application/services in C++, Java, or Go Lang programming
•2+ years’ Android Framework and/or Linux server programming and debugging experience (modification/creation of services in Android framework, not just calling framework services)
•Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, tech design, implementation, code review, testing, and release
