Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap and execution for secure API access, API security, and webhook infrastructure and tooling for Wise Platform integrations.
  • •Design in partnership with Security on credential management, authentication strategies, and secure connection protocols balancing security and developer experience.
  • •Build and improve webhook reliability, observability, and usability for partner operations.
  • •Deliver API and webhook logs and diagnostics tooling to help partners and internal teams investigate and recover from issues faster.
  • •Drive cross-functional execution with engineering and partner stakeholders to measurably reduce incidents, support load, and time-to-resolution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 93,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of product management experience, ideally with APIs, platform products, security, identity, auth, or infrastructure.
  • •Strong understanding of authentication and access patterns (e.g., OAuth2, API keys, JOSE, mTLS), identity/access lifecycle, and operational reliability concepts.
  • •Comfort discussing architecture, threat/risk trade-offs, and reliability/observability with engineers.
  • •Customer-centric mindset with empathy for partner developers and operators, translating production pain into product priorities and outcomes.
  • •Analytical, data-driven execution using metrics and incident data to prioritise and iterate.
